About This Book
This is a Workbook that is formatted to be used either as a small-group discussion guide or for personal reflection. It prompts the reader to consider issues leading to interpersonal conflict(s) and the emotional pain that often brings. Each of the short 36 chapters deals with a single issue. There are journaling questions at the end of each chapter for the reader to address. Personal Journaling is highly recommended.
Chapters include such diverse topics as Grieving, Shame, Brokenness, Boundaries, Tolerance, Discernment, Personal Responsibility, Gatekeepers, Conflict, Betrayal, Honesty, Failure, and more. These provocative topics will promote candid discussions (or thoughts) about our personal paradigms, attitudes, actions, life choices, and our emotional responses. This book won't tell the reader how to solve their problems, just focus them on issues contributing to the pains-of-their-past. The hard work of personal change is left to the reader.
This reader will be challenged with new alternatives to their future decisions, behaviors, and actions. This requires a new awareness of their own biases, blind spots, and paradigms.
