About This Book
When God is Black and Disabled (WGBD): the Choreopoem is the adaptation of the podcast of the same name, with and by Black women of faith with disabilities. Please listen to and download WGBD from all major streaming services. The choreopoem video production meets the requirements of public presentation in completion of the Doctor of Ministry in Spirituality and Story at Wesley Theological Seminary (WDC), my research and dissertation— “When God is Black and Disabled: Ontological Womanism and Disability Inclusion in the African-American Church”---calls the church to develop a hermeneutic of disability to transform aptitude, attitude, and accommodations for persons with disabilities in the church and society. The dissertation is cataloged in EBSCO, RIM, and other academic research portals.
