About This Book
Sarah is a young teenage girl, rejected by her family due to a pregnancy and a newborn baby. She decides to head out into the world on her own. Not knowing what is before her in her quest to get a better life for herself and her newborn baby.
Richard and Linda are a young couple bringing up two young boys of their own in a small family environment. On a chance meeting during one of their weekly family country drives, they meet a young girl named Sarah holding a young child on the roadway. They see that this young lady is in distress and elect to stop and offer help.
As years pass, the young teenage girl becomes a young lady experiencing her dream of being a nurse. Her young child, Justin, grows up with Richard and Linda as surrogate grandparents and is guided toward a desire for baseball. The young child with his new desire for baseball becomes a well-liked collegiate player and eventually a professional baseball player.
Richard and Linda grow into happy surrogate grandparents and are captivated by both Sarah's and Justin's lives from what they might have been. Justin's career in baseball becomes the one thing in his life, forgetting those who supported him, and in the end realizes whose support was really from.
