About This Book
This volume, the first in the EPINOMIS Western Culture Library and entitled Global Governance and Growth in Freedom, outlines the problems and challenges that both present. They are universal. No country can solve them on its own, such as global warming, pandemics, migrations, the nuclear threat, and drug trafficking. But also, the very reality of globalization progresses in parallel with the weakening of democratic institutions in several nations around the world. These issues were addressed in the Seminars of the same name, in their editions from 2021 to 2023, organized by the Virtual Network e-Promesa, based at Miami Dade College and its Institute for Freedom in the Americas, with the support of the Democratic Initiative of Spain and the Americas, the Mezerhane Chair on Democracy, Rule of Law and Human Rights, and the Atlantic Institute of Government.
