This book by Professor Allan R. Brewer-Carías, is the Constitutional Chronicle that he has written about the kidnapping of the presidential election of Venezuela on July 28, 2024, in which what the leaders of the Government had announced in the sense that they were going to ignore the triumph of the opposition ("we are not going to let them win") was executed; a task that they could only achieve by twisting the result of the popular will expressed in the elections. The book is published in the Collection on Historical Memory of the Allan R. Brewer-Carías Library, of the Institute of Legal Research of the Andrés Bello Catholic University, exposing the topic in five parts: Part One: The absence of minimum conditions for the electoral process of July 28, 2024 to be considered free, fair, transparent, plural and verifiable. Part Two: The tally sheets as unique and authentic evidence of the votes in Venezuela, and the only basis for the totalization of votes and the adjudication and proclamation of candidates. Third part: The "proclamation" of candidate Maduro, without the totalization of votes according to the tally sheets of the polling stations, and without its duly tabulated publication. Part Four: The judicialization of the electoral process of July 28, 2024 before the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court, against the Constitution, usurping the functions of the Electoral Power, and violating all the most elementary norms that govern judicial processes in Venezuela. And Part Five: The judicial "resolution" of an election by means of a sentence issued in a non-existent "expert process" carried out in secret by the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court.
