About This Book
This book about “The Reinstitutionalization of the System of Justice and Transitional Justice, and other Topics in Venezuela,” is a comprehensive compilation of the statements issued by Spain Chapter of the Constitutional Bloc of Venezuela, between 2019 and 2023, carried out by its Coordinator, Dr. Carlos J. Sarmiento Sosa.
These statements address a wide range of issues from restructuring the justice system to matters related to transitional justice they focus on fundamental aspects of constitutional law the defense of human rights and other essential elements of the rule of law, democracy and freedom.
Furthermore these statements explicitly refer to international law, highlighting the importance of international principles and norms in promoting and protecting human rights and the rule of law in Venezuela. They acknowledge the relevance of international treaties and conventions in constructing a solid legal system and establishing standards of justice and democracy.
