About This Book
This book by Professor Román J. Duque Corredor, a Member of the Academy of Political and Social Sciences of Venezuela, National Coordinator of the Constitutional Bloc of Venezuela and President of the Alberto Adriani Foundation of Venezuela; is a research into the most emblematic corruption cases in Venezuela since 2000, which are included in the so-called "Grand Corruption" according to the standards of the Global Corruption Barometer of International Transparency.
The purpose of the book is to allow national and international interested persons to know cases qualified by the doctrine of "disastrous corruption", which the author calls "hypercorruption" and qualifies, among others, of "petrokleptocracy", "the mafia and the cosa nostra of the Orinoco Mining Arc" , “Icons of Boliburguesa Corruption”, “ the series "the privatization of PDVSA by the great corruption” and "judicial political corruption"; because by their maximum excess they affect the democratic governability of Venezuela, represent serious violations of anti-corruption regulations and are harmful to human rights and harm the Venezuelan population on a large scale.
Due to the disastrous level reached by corruption and its immoral impunity, during the present regime called "Bolivarian Revolution", the author highlights its contradiction with the Bolivarian anti-corruption doctrine and its harmful effect on the complex humanitarian crisis in Venezuela.
