This book of Professor José Guillermo Andureza is a complete and syntetical study of the system of judicial review in Venezuela in its two methods: the diffuse method which corresponds to all courts when they decide not to apply in a specific case a statute considered unconstitutional, giving preference to the Constitution; and the concentrated method assigned to the Supreme Court, with the power to annull statutes, at the request of any individual by means of a popular action, when it deems it unconstitutional.
