About This Book
This book, edited by Professors Allan R. Brewer-Carías and Asdrúbal Aguiar, is a recollection of all the Academic Papers (written by Allan R. Brewer-Carías, Asdrúbal Aguiar and José Ignacio Hernández G.), as well as of the most important News Papers' articles, Manifests and Public Declarations, also including the text of the Parliamentary Debate, referred to the constitutional and political process that took place in Venezuela in December 2022, for the reform of the Statute for Transition Towards Democracy that was originally adopted in February 2019. On that occasion, a Transition Government was configured lead by Mr. Juan Guaidó who as President of the National Assembly, assumed as Interim President of the Republic, and was recognized as such by many democratic countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and countries from the European Union. With the December 2022 reform, the Interim Government and the Interim President has been substituted by a sort of Transition "Parliamentary Government" lead by the National Assembly through a Delegate Commission and a Council for the Administration and Protection of Assets.
