THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP PREPAREDNESS WORKBOOK is designed to provide the tools that are needed to entrench the practice of entrepreneurial philosophy. The development of this workbook is influenced by the understanding that despite the global popularity of entrepreneurship and the acknowledgement of its unique role as the sole means of value and wealth creation across all industries, markets and economies, the very life-force that makes it possible remains mostly neglected and therefore, little-explored! The fundamental importance of entrepreneurial behaviour is conclusively-proven by the critical nature of its two key indicators which include the tendency to: • Think entrepreneurially and • Act entrepreneurially! The assertion that the tendency to think entrepreneurially and the tendency to act entrepreneurially are both influenced and linked by the force of entrepreneurial behaviour is validated by the reality that it takes thinking entrepreneurially to act entrepreneurially and it is impossible for anyone who is not thinking entrepreneurially to act entrepreneurially! It is only when the fact that entrepreneurial thinking and entrepreneurial action are the defining behaviours which practically make entrepreneurship possible can be recognized as the conclusive-evidence that entrepreneurship is profoundly behavioural that it will be understood both that entrepreneurial philosophy is the shaper of entrepreneurial behaviour and that it is only by developing thorough-grounding in the personal entrepreneurship, enterprise development, creative enterprise and entrepreneurial business dimensions of entrepreneurial philosophy that anyone can become sufficiently prepared for entrepreneurship!
