About This Book
A blood-sucking exterminator.
An amnesiac babysitter.
A Louboutin box with a secret.
Clara Fallow is far from a typical twenty-two-year-old. Her days are spent looking after three spoiled rich kids, reading her way through the local library, and making sure her alcoholic father doesn't face-plant off the broken front porch stairs. But, then again, Clara's hometown of rural Campbell, Pennsylvania is not so typical either.
When her teenage charge Maeve Cresco theorizes that the new neighborhood exterminator is a vampire, she and Clara uncover more than a few anthills in the backyard. Beneath Campbell's endless fields of corn lies a dark secret about the village's beginnings.
Clara and Maeve rush to sort out the truth before the population of Campbell dips by two. Sun-up should mean lights-out for vampires, but in Campbell nothing is typical…or what it seems.
