About This Book
This project is to help small children to understand what autism is all about, so that they won’t be bewildered and upset when a child with autism is included in their classroom or care environment. I've written a picture book called ‘Being Friends with Bodie Finch’, complete with a digital handbook (compiled in consultation with inclusion consultant Rebecca Thompson) to help the children’s parents and teachers to get the most out of the story so they can support their children to feel safe and secure when a child with autism joins their class.
