In PART II of Maelstrom, Ryan, Tory, and her children, are forced to flee Bermuda in the dark of night into the open ocean after Tory is assaulted and the children are threatened. Edward pursues and they are subjected to his full on fury at sea. Unspeakable tragedy ensues. Be warned in advance, the author of Maelstrom does not always play by the rules! In PART III, the hunted become the hunters and Ryan and Tory try to exact justice and retribution against this amoral smuggler who wants to take everything from them.
