This book is devoted to study the historical, constitutional and political antecedents of the Constitution of the Republic of Colombia (so called: Gran Colombia) of 30 August 1821 , which was the result of the union of the Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Nueva Granada, proposed by Simón Bolivar in before the Congress of Venezuela (Angostura), which enacted the Fundamental law of the Republic of Colombia of 17 December 1819.
