About This Book
This book of Professor Allan R. Brewer-Carías is a recollection of his works related to the legal regime of Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA), the Venezuelan Holding of the Nationalized Oil Industry, written and published during the past five decades, since 1974. The works refers to the legal foundations and legal regime of the Nationalization process of the industry of 1975; the development of PDVSA as the Holding company of the Oil Industry between 1975 and 2001; the collapse of the Industry between 2002 and 2018; and the reestablishment of the separation of PFVSA and the State regarding the Oil Industry assets abroad. as a consequence of the Transition Regime Towards Democracy established since February 2019.
