About This Book
This book, published by the Venezuelan Academy of Political and Social Sciences, and coordinated by professors Allan R. Brewer-Carías and Carlos Ayala Corao, is the second volume (of two), prepared in homage of Professor Pedro Nikken, a distinguish Venezuelan Lawyer who was Dean of the Law Faculty of the Central University of Venezuela, President of the International Commission of Jurists and of the Interamerican Court of Human Rights. This Volume is a recollection of works written by 40 jurists on matters related to the Democracy and the Constitutional State, Criminal Law, Arbitration, Civil Law, Procedural Law, Taxation Law, and Environment.
