About This Book
This book of professor Rafael J. Chavero Gazdic, aims to highlight the main characteristics of the constitutional jurisdiction in Venezuela, analyzing the different procedural claims that are heard before the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice, as the entity in charge of the judicial review of the constitutionality of estate acts. For this purpose, all aspects of these constitutional mechanisms are reviewed, among which we can highlight: claims of unconstitutionality; actions for constitutional interpretation; collision of laws; claims against legislative omission; constitutional controversies; extraordinary review of judicial decisions, among others.
All aspects of these constitutional protection mechanisms are reviewed, such as, the parties involved; the object of the claim; the applicable procedure; as well as the effects and content of the decisions of each one of them. It present, the copious and abundant jurisprudence of the Constitutional Chamber, which with successes and failures has been configuring a very particular system of constitutional justice.
