STEPPING STONES Milestone #6 - Graduation

The STEPPING STONES Milestone Classes were designed to be taught to children and their parents. Significant moments in life – rites of passage – milestones – are important in our children's lives, yet we often commemorate such occasions with a passing “congratulations.” There is no better time to partner with parents than during these milestone occasions. GRADUATION is the final STEPPING STONE in the series developed to enable you to teach and celebrate with the children in your ministry and encourage and equip their parents as they transition to the youth ministry. Transitioning from elementary to middle school can be a nervous and challenging time for both students and their parents. The class covers some of the changes and challenges students will face, as well as the need to make good choices. It also includes a discussion on identity and a recap of the gospel message. It is designed to be used at the end of the school year or whenever you transition elementary children into your middle school ministry. It could also be used separately as a parenting seminar.
