About This Book
This book is about my mother Adrienne Matyas Krausz Friede, who in spite of having experienced such horrific ordeals at the hands of the Nazis, has managed to be such a positive person. She did not allow the Nazis to crush her humanity and spirit as well as love for life. Upon retirement, she was honored with a distinguished Member award from the ASW Association of Women Surgeons.
