Zoo Closed Until Further Notice

This illustrated book was written at the height of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. The Pandemic has created a lot of difficult questions for us all. People are faced with many challenges: public health, economic, and personal/family relationships to name a few. Julie and Grant use their creative abilities and perspective to teach children (and adults) about the novel coronavirus and its complex impact on all of us through the eyes of zoo animals and a super cool raccoon physician named Dr. Mitchell. The book offers a colorful and creative way to explain the pandemic in a manner that is accessible to all readers.
